Challenge

The Nor Cal Carpenter Union is one of the largest organized voices in the construction industry. They sought to reinvigorate their brand and engage a wider audience. I worked with them to revamp their content strategy, magazine and social media.

Solution

After meeting with leadership, I developed a tailored strategy focusing on four content themes: People, projects, current events, and union and community engagement.

I then revamped the magazine with bold typography, vibrant imagery, and a layout that blended editorial content with a bold construction look. I also created a branding system that was implemented across social platforms, as well as an editorial calendar, ensuring consistency in visuals and content.
