Kglobal Pitch Video

Communications firm kglobal was looking for an animated piece to showcase what they do and why they do it. They wanted it to be fun, contemporary, brand-complainant and, overall, reflect the style of the DC-based company. The Chief Creative Director contacted me with an approved script, a visual direction and a tight one-week deadline.

I began the project by picking the right font for the video. I decided on Bebas Neue by Dharma Type, which you see all over the place now. From there I created the graphics in Illustrator and began animating in After Effects. I then chatted with my contact about the audio track. We settled on a piano track I created in Ableton Live, but it was later rejected in the review cycle. A stock track was then picked, and I loaded it into Live and edited it to fit the flow of the video by duplicating certain parts, cutting certain parts and adding effects where necessary.
